Happy Halloween!

Note to self:
Next Halloween, hide my favorite costume for each boy until the day of Halloween, that way maybe they'll wear it! For a year now, I've had James's Spiderman costume, accessories and all. And, over a month ago I borrowed Daniel's Buzz Lightyear from a friend.
When it was time to go to school and show off his costume, James refused the cool costume and pieced this one together instead. At one point I even laid out both costumes and said: "Okay, you can wear this nice, new, awesome costume... or you can wear this 'piece of crap' (yes, I did use that exact wording)." James insisted, went to school as a "Ninja," and could not have been more pleased with himself. Lesson to me on letting my boy have an opinion of his own. humph.
Daniel. Five minutes before it was time to head out for trick-or-treating, the Daniel decided that he wanted to wear last year's costume. Whatever. It's warm, it's cute, and he loved it. He does make a hilarious Buzz Lightyear, however, and I will include those pics later.
Thank goodness he have the cute Andrew who is just happy to be there.
Mikey was full of the most surprises as he decided to set up this table outside in our front yard-- we were handing out glo-sticks which made it look cooler in the dark. A good neighbor of ours commented by saying: "Mike is such a little kid in a big body." It's true. I love all of my boys and the fun they bring to the holiday!

  1. That made me laugh "Or you can wear this piece of crap." I love you Robin! Your kids are adorable in their costumes, and you and Mike look awesome. Way to get into the holiday!
