This Week:

--The boys and I made "Playdough." That's what James called Sugar Cookies because the only other time he has seen cookie cutters is when they have the play dough out (which is like twice a year)
--We finished decorating the house for Christmas. It's the first year in this house I've really gotten into making the decor look nice and I love it. I'm happy with how our tree came out and we tried something new with the garland. Unfortunately however, when asked what Christmas was all about, James replied: "Decorations."
-- The "Warm Fuzzy" jar. Grandma gave each family a jar along with warm fuzzy pom pom balls to go in it. It's been the best thing for our family this month. I've observed in other families how December can be crazy with overly excited, tired, and sugar over-dosed children. Our time our turn as this is the first year that James "gets" Christmas. He is hopped up on excitement and Daniel imitates every move. The fuzzies have been a good way to stay positive with the boys and to point out good behaviors. They've responded so well to it.
-- We made our first of many visits to Thanksgiving Point to see the reindeer. We'll probably go back on a weekly basis.
-- Most exciting thing is that the boys' cousins, Jonathan and Crystal got baptized yesterday. The boys love baptisms, I think because they associate it with swimming. It was a very nice program and we're so proud of them!
