James started preschool today and we are so excited!! He loved it... Daniel and I really loved it!
Last night I was up worrying about him and what we'd do if he didn't like it. That all changed after I dropped him off and we had a few hours without him. I decided that no matter how he felt, Daniel and I had a blast so he'll have to just make the most of it!
Luckily, he did have fun. He came home singing "Mary had a Little Lamb" (something I've never taught him), wanting to wear his backpack around the house, and ready to read his first homework book.
Hooray for other people watching my child!
Fun for you... as well as James and Daniel too! I didn't think you were starting preschool yet! Glad it was a good first day! Good luck this school year!

ReplyDeleteMy Nate's starting full-time school now! Can't believe it. But it will be nice to only have Cailey home for most of the day (and the new baby in a few weeks).
He is so cute and I'm glad that he enjoyed it. I'm also glad that you and Daniel will get some one on one time while he is away. :)
