Our one and only family campout was this weekend and boy am I glad it's the only one!!! We are still recuperating. It was a cold night and Mike and I are spoiled by our Cal King mattress and pillows. Nevertheless, it was really fun and we're glad we did it. Luckily, we were able to tag along with the Hardy's and Hoffmanns, eat their yummy dutch oven cooking, sit around their warm fire, and pitch a tent in their campsite. I think we can call it a good experience: our mountain boys had a blast playing with cousins, I saw a moose, and Mikey got to ride his bike.
The next day we went to Swiss Days and had gelato at Zermatt.
Today our family made it to 8 am church on time and Mikey made a huge batch of chocolate oatmeal cookies.
Tomorrow's a holiday. No complaints here :)
