4-fold blessings

The lord blesses us at least 4-fold...the Lord blesses us and our families for the service and sacrifice that we give. I know a lot of times it feels like a sacrifice to give of ourselves to our families on Sundays, to meet for meetings, to go visiting teaching for hours each month, and to do all the other things that are expected of us. But I learned back in college when I had a very overwhelming schedule and I'm relearning it now with a young family, that as we serve the Lord and give him of our time, he will bless us and somehow magnify and provide enough time to fit everything in and more and our families learn from our examples. The Lord can do so much more with us then we can and he can do so much more with our time and our families than we can. I appreciate your willingness to help and serve and to be involved, and I know that as we do so our loved ones are very blessed. I love you, I learn so much from you, I appreciate your friendship and companionship, and I look forward to hopefully at least another year to get it right and to go forward with optimism and faith as we serve the good families in our ward.

Part of discipleship should be to become high-yield, low-maintenance members of the Church. Maxwell

President Benson said: “One of the joys of working with boys is the fact that you do get your pay as you go along. You have an opportunity to observe the results of your leadership daily as you work with them through the years and watch them grow into stalwart manhood, accepting eagerly its challenges and responsibilities. Such satisfaction cannot be purchased at any price; it must be earned through service and devotion. What a glorious thing it is to have even a small part in helping to build boys into men, real men.”

Did you learn to love this child I sent you and so carefully placed in your care?

No sacrifice is too much for me to make an no chance to serve is beneath my effort.
