We're super busy around here enjoying one another and the great out of doors!
Our month has been filled with late nights in the backyard, camping at Timpooneke, dessert nights, dates, starting a cooking website, CrossFit, trying new recipes, redecorating the house, and lots and lots of Legos. Daniel is very into "critters" of any sort, whether that be "Toady" from the window well, the black beetle that bites, Brownie the guinea pig, and today's ladybug that crawled right on him. James's new interest is earning money to support his Police Lego obsession. He took a week long break dancing/ Jedi training class in the neighborhood which naturally eased the boys into their first exposure to the Star Wars movies.
Magic School bus and Lego commentaries on YouTube babysit the boys during quiet time.
Andrew is busy as ever. Still crawling and not giving walking much of an effort. Funniest little kid with more and more personality surfacing on a daily basis.
Mike enjoyed a better father's day present than I could've given him when the stake called to set up an appointment and together we celebrated our 9th anniversary with a family trip to the aviary and the zoo then later a Thai dinner to a newly discovered and loved local restaurant.
It's 101 degrees outside, I got back on my bike, I'm down 20 pounds since doing CF, did my VT on the last day of the month, looking forward to celebrating the 4th this week, and already have most of our DL trip planned for the fall.
I'd love to continue the selfish ramblings that hopefully only Ama and posterity read, but Andrew just woke up and duty calls... until next month!
I read too and love the updates! Bx
