The John Deere

We play a lot of "I Spy" in the car... because we have a lot of crying in the car. One day, while looking at a tree, Mike said: I spy with my little eye something fluffy.
To which James replied: "Foofie!" (that's what we call Andrew 80% of the time)

The following is a conversation that took place at 5 am when Mike went into the boys' room because Daniel was crying:
Dan: I want carrots!
Mike: Ok. Would you like carrots for breakfast?
Dan: No!
Mike: What color are carrots?
Dan: Orange. I want to draw carrots.
Dan then fell back asleep. Way to go Mikey, who has mastered the art of diversion and distraction.

A conversation the boys and I had when they had a friend over:
Me: Hey Buddy, there's no Whining in our home
James: He knows mommy, I already told him.

Mike helped coach soccer practice this week, and this is what he had to say about it: "It's like herding cats"

When Daniel climbed in our bed one (of the many) nights this week:
Mike: How'd you sneak in here?
Daniel: Cuz.

On our way to Sandy for some furniture shopping, we stumbled across a country station, to which my cultured James said: "That sounds like a Farm Song"
