Once again, more Instagram pictures... They just document the week so well.

Gone are the days of caring what my tree looks like. James had fun decorating it, and I had fun not decorating it!

Who need a bench when you can stack couch cushions!?

Melissa and Doug blocks. Best investment. Ever.

Mike took Matt, Kate, James, and Daniel on the new Utah County frontrunner. The grand opening was free and they paid heavily for it by standing in the snow and freezing wind for 40 minutes as they waited for a train that had enough room to let them on. They enjoyed their day in SLC riding the double-decker train & trax, going to Temple Square, watching The Testaments, playing at the church history discovery museum, hanging out in the Apple store at City Creek, and thawing out in the Clark Planetarium. Usually I go with them, but Mike "convinced" me to stay warm and cozy at home with this little piece of smiling Heaven. I loved my spa day at home and I LOVED being able to give this little guy my undivided attention. So often-- like always-- Andrew's needs have to come after his demanding older brothers. Poor little happy guy.

Additionally, this week:
I got to spend an afternoon with my Skeeter-free sister.
Mike and I enjoyed a date in Park City for his annual (and AMAZING) work Christmas party spent gorging ourselves at a Steak house. Then to come home with only Andrew, as the other boys spent the night at Ama's house... 2nd stay cation in two weeks. I could get used to this! Thank you so much Ama and Tammy!
We enjoyed our second date of the weekend during our 6th annual neighborhood Christmas progressive dinner. I had it easy this year and brought my fudge. Usually I host something, spend the day scrubbing the house and cooking. Not this time. This year I got to relax and hold my baby all day :)

Quote of the Week:
I wish I had been kinder.
