Blue is James's stuffed animal.
He and Mike named him about 3 years ago (before ever watching Blue's Clues). I think seeing Katelyn love her stuffed dog at Dog Days helped him realize how much fun stuffed animals can be. For the last week Blue has been his little friend. James brings Blue everywhere he can. He helps Blue participate in household activities. He eats with Blue. Sleeps with Blue. Goes in the car with Blue. Brings Blue to the store. Takes him on the slide at the McDonald's play area. Lets Blue help him build with blocks. Took Blue to school on Friday for show and tell. The only place Blue typically doesn't go is the restroom. He sits outside and waits patiently.
This cuddly, loving, caring, tender James kid. Loves. Blue.
So sweet. I love the pic of James reading in his comfy box in front of the fireplace. What a cozy winter picture. And there's Andrew with his forever smile. Can't believe I've missed so much with him. Standing?? He wasn't even sitting when I left just 3 months ago.
