Two weeks worth of blogging

 We LOVE you so much, Daniel! 

Such a tease. 

Mr. Daniel had a Birthday! He is now a big three year old. We had a friend birthday party for him... he didn't care and would never have known he was missing out if we didn't have one for him. 

However. With that being said, he had a blast, loved it, and felt so special all day. 

James usually gets all the attention and I think it was good for both of them to celebrate Daniel for a day. He is the funniest kid and does things his own way. 

His party started out a little unorthodox as his way of greeting his friends was opening their presents as soon as they walked in the door. He sat himself by the front door and gladly welcomed each new friend. His party was so easy. Originally, it was going to be a water party plus train rides. However, the day was overcast, so we nixed the water idea and instead spent most the time on our neighbor's barrel train.

Mike also had a birthday!

Here's a little present we made him (idea from Pinterest). It's a Daddy back massage:

Mike took the day off of work so we could go to the zoo and swimming on a day other than Saturday.

 Katelyn and Matt came along as well :)

 When asked what their favorite part of the zoo was, both boys said that it was the bird show.

 Andrew is AMAZING. He just goes with it. He's happy, comfortable, pleasant, and cuddly. 

 James has a really good sense of direction and can probably read maps better than I do. Using the map, he told us exactly how to find the playground and train.

We have this little retention pond behind our house. It has Tadpoles. And after three trips to it, we finally caught one-- the only we saw. Hopefully it will live long enough to become a frog.
