February

It was kind of a Blah February week. Tuesday night we took the boys bowling for the first time. It was hilarious to watch and I think they had a good time. James understood the idea better than Dan, who would throw his ball down the ally then turn around and walk back to the ball feed to play with the other bowling balls. He could care less about knocking over any pins. James at least would watch and then turn to the video screen to watch the animation it would play for them. Other than that, the boys were fighting colds half the week-- which finally hit both of them by the weekend. Daniel sleeps when he's sick. James turns into a fussy wreck. 

We went to the new Arctic Circle (probably where they picked up the bug) by our house three days in a row but other than that we were pretty much stuck in the house. It's pouring snow right now and is feeling more like the Utah winter that we are familiar with. Finally, by Saturday we decided to take the boys out anyway and that was the highlight of the week. We went to lunch at Tucanos with Mike's parents who report to the MTC next Monday, played at Provo Beach for an hour, and went to the mall. Sad thing is that even though our kids had colds, I saw at least 3 other kids who were more sick than them.

Finally, Here is a video from our bowling adventures. I had to put it on youtube because blogger couldn't upload it. This video cracks me up in so many ways and while watching it Mike said that the entertainment would be in him filming me watching the video. The humor began from the bowling adventure turning into break dancing, two wild creatures bowling for the first time, and Daniel dropping the ball on the floor to the serious guy in the background determined that this is the night he's going to get his high score.
