For the first time in THREE weeks we checked on the very neglected family garden. To our surprise and wonder, we found this piece of art!
With exception to when James was like 5 months old, the boys went to Discovery Gateway for the first time. Wow did they ever LOVE it! James was entirely in his element as he wore the fireman costume the entire time we were there. Daniel enjoyed getting wet in the water and they both spent a lot of time in the construction zone area.
The blessed curse of the week was having our home appraised. (We are not moving but are still paying a whopping 6% interest and are hoping to lower that a bit). It's hard enough to get us all dressed in the morning and to find some sort of food that we can all eat-- let alone super ultra cleaning our house. I know it's not the cleanliness but the size and comps that the appraiser looks at, but we were desperate for any added help in getting our appraisal numbers up. SO, here is an interior pic of our glistening home that our boys were not allowed near until it was all over.

It's been a VERy long week and we are all tired. Yes, amazingly and to our utter delight, the boys BOTh fell asleep in the hallway.

oh my gosh...they are so cute, love the falling asleep in the hallway with books!! Are you guys selling or just refinancing?
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've seen a zucchini that size before! Impressive! I bet the boys had fun with it! Your home looks beautiful... as I'm sure it always does and it's pretty impressive that they both feel asleep in the hall! When they do that it just proves that they have had a fun filled day! How are you feeling? And why were you getting your house appraised?
ReplyDeleteFYI: the appraisal is for refinancing to a lower interest rate.
