Happiness is...

Dropping the kids off with a babysitter and pretending like we don't have any.
A family campout that's 25 minutes away so we can drive home and sleep in our own beds.
Camping before we had kids.
9 am with dinner in the crockpot and ready to be cooked... knowing what we're having for dinner.
Having clothes that fit. Even if it yet another size bigger than I ever thought I'd be. But at least they're nice and I'm not wearing my maternity clothes a year after being pregnant.
Having my Costco shopping privileges reinstated after having Mikey remove them when I spent way too much on groceries.
Eating a serving of treats everyday. So, for the month I tried to go without sweets. I did exceptionally well for almost 3 whole weeks (Lizzie, I totally understand why you were impressed with your 2 1/2 weeks and counting). I'm amazed if I go for a day without treats.
Going to bed early and getting up early. So, I have ONE goal for the year: Early to bed, early to rise. Okay, I have a ton of other goals too, but if I could get up early lots of those would fall into place.
Sleeping boys.
Tin foil dinners up the canyon.
Sunsets on the mountains.
Watching the boys' pure delight in water.
Gliding through the pool on a hot day.
A fast tennis serve.
Walking Westfield at sunset after a hot day.
A wet spring. I know, I know, you probably all beg to differ, but Mike and I have LOVED all the rain, wet, cool weather.
Weddings.
Green mountain sides because of all the rain.
Saturdays at Thanksgiving Point.
Seeing the delight in the boys eyes when they play with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
3-D movies. I used to hate and avoid them. But they have improved in the last few years.
When one of the boys falls asleep on me.
James' laugh.
Daniel's laugh.
Daniel's cheeks. I chew on them, kiss, bite, gnaw, squeeze and adore them on a daily basis
Our little plastic pools in the backyard. Soooo much easier than going to the pool
Running--even though I'm slower than slow. I love the rhythm and being able to (pregnancy makes me appreciate a lot of things I may not have otherwise noticed)
My D60. And the boys it has taken over 10,000 pictures of.
Blogging, even though it keeps me from doing other things.
Outdoors. Summer. Grilled Food.
My garden and the fresh veggies we will soon enjoy from it.
Stretching. Yoga. Pilates.
No bake cookies. They are manna from Heaven.
Our new kitty, Misty. We love her... don't worry, Mom, we'll give her back and go find our own cat.
Newborns.
Electricity. Running water.
Seasons.
Tuesday playgroup.
Friends.
Our family car that we all fit in.
Our health.
Being married to an AMAZING man. One who loves me and one who loves our Savior.
Reading the scriptures. Really reading and "feasting."
General Conference.
Finishing a good book. Or any book for that matter.
Cooking a yummy dinner and sharing it with my family.
Saturdays. They're sacred.
Sunday naps.
James' nursery leaders. Bless them. They are patient, fun, and creative.
Nice friends that don't beat up my boy. I know he needs to stand up for himself, but it's nice when he can just play with a friend and not have to be on guard for the next punch, bite, or push.
How quiet our boys are... now I jinxed myself and our next child will be a foghorn (that was one of my first roommate's nicknames, by the way. Ya, I slept and studied really good that year).
My in laws.
Weddings. Any wedding. Wedding dresses. Flowers. Pictures.
The Temple.
Traveling. Getting on the airplane in one state/ country and getting off in another.
Lakes. Boats. Swimming. Water. Bear Lake.
Racing in a triathlon.
Riding my bike.
Lying awake late at night talking to Mike. Just visiting, chatting, and enjoying each other.
Cuddling with Mike.
Being at home with the boys.
Having a husband who allows me to stay at home with the boys.
Teaching a lesson or giving a talk that I'm happy with.
Our Home.
A clean home. An empty sink. Wiped off counters. A toilet I don't mind my Daniel playing in--okay, I wouldn't go that far, but ours is pretty sick right now. Carpet that still has vacuum lines in it.
Air conditioning.
No clutter. I have way too much crap around the house right now.
Finding a good deal.
Saving money.
Maxing out our Roth IRA's. Thanks to Dave Ramsey, we actually did that last year.
Massages. Pedicures.
Cruises.
Christmas. James is going to LOVE Christmas this year! He will enjoy the magic of it all.
Mama Mia the musical. Love it. We jam to that and Sara Brightman during our travels around town.
My Mom's pool heated to 89 degrees.
Watching my Mom play with the boys, even in the pool. I don't usually put my head under because my hair is such a pain to de-chorinate, but she totally goes under water, dives for toys, catches James when he jumps in, etc. And loves it. They both do.
Seeing the way my Dad talks to and plays with the boys. He makes them laugh so hard and he makes the funnest voices for them. Visiting my Dad. Maybe we'll go see him this summer. It's been too long!
Watching Grandma push James around in the dolly and seeing his face in awe and wonder! Seeing how Daniel absolutely lights up when he sees her and she smiles at him.
Watching James run into Grandpa's arms as he reads him a story or just enjoys him.
The wonder on the boy's faces as they see and learn new things. Seeing their proud looks when they do something new-- such as Daniel climbing up and down the staircase all by himself this week.
When James falls asleep on his own...
Freshly vacuumed lines in the carpet.
The chiropractor and insurance that covers it.
Tuesdays when a friend and I exchange a meal for the week.
Softbatch cookies.
An authentic British accent.
England.
America and all the freedom and opportunity it provides us
