Turned into this???
Look at that naughty little 2 year old! Check out the mischievous expressions on his face! My little baby newborn James has turned into this wild beast with unleashed testosterone and emotion!He's always been the mellow one getting bitten, hit, and pushed around. We were glad when he developed this love for cars because that is one toy that he won't give up easily.
Well, now this little "sweetheart" is a total bully to his little brother and has been a monster for us. Yesterday at playgroup he full-on pushed one of his little friends. I suppose I should be glad that he's growing a pair and is learning to assert himself, but really why has my little tender heart turned into this little hitting and pushing machine?
... I did ask Ama about this and her advice was what we've already learned about this little guy: 1:1 attention.
I think she's onto something. I gave him a ton of attention today and he did so much better. Hopefully my sweet little James will return with a little (lot) of TLC and 1:1 attention.
Toddlers. Wow. Not quite sure how moms have more than two kids. And how they survive teenagers.
From my experience of 3 boys....you ain't seen notin' yet! Gives you something to look forward to doesn't it?
