Around the House

These pictures are really just hopeful thinking that maybe someday James will show interest in the toilet itself and not just the fun plastic wrap that it comes in. He sure enjoyed making faces through the seat though that's all he did through it. And no, the third picture is not "stinky" which is what he calls poo poo, but rather chocolate which he loved so much that when it was all gone he started picking out chunks from his hair and eating those. Meanwhile, Daniel was entertaining himself so well during the entire James show.

My favorite part of the entire adventure is where the chocolate came from. We were just chilling in the family room when I heard a knock on the door. Figuring it was a neighbor I dilly dallayed my way to the front door-- only to behold with my very own eyes my Sister!!! She was at the local chocolate factory and decided to stop in. What a delightful surprise and the highlight of my day!

  2. I have to tell you that whatever that brown stuff is, it doesn't look very good to have it after pictures of him playing with a toilet seat. But your boys are very cute. :)

  3. See, I don't have a dirty mind! I could tell the toilet seat is brand-new, still wrapped in plastic; so it shouldn't be related to the chocolate (or similar) covered face! At least, I hope not!
Good luck with toilet-training, it's an adventure!

  4. Oh, I love my sister! My kids used to run around the house with a little toilet seat like that on their heads. I don't know what it is with kids and potty training stuff. You will have to check out the potty training movie from the library. One of them has some fabulous songs that you and Mike won't be able to stop laughing about-esp. when they get stuck in your head!
