Mikey, our new family plumber has totally amazed me with his skills. Our first year of marriage I washed some mud (and rocks) off of a gardening spade in the kitchen sink... I learned my lesson when I went to turn on the dish disposal and it made a funny noise. So, what did my amazing husband do? He drove to Home Depot, bought a new disposal, and learned how to install it. Just recently we have had this extremely annoying leaky kitchen sink. He's taken it apart a couple of times but it never got better. Over the weekend, once again he drove to HD and had a guy show him how to replace some parts. Now it works better than ever. Ahhh. So, here is a pic of my wonderful husband who's philosophy is "I work so I can pay other people to do stuff around the house for me." And no, he doesn't normally wear his pants low-- he had to pull them down for the pic.
Healthy Eating: It's something I'm trying. If you've been on my Kitchen blog, you will notice a pattern in the recipes I've been putting on it. Here is a recent dinner I made with Salmon, salad, and asparagus. We'll see how long it lasts (hopefully until I'm back to my pre-Daniel weight)
Since having Daniel, Mike and I have been trying to go on dates more regularly. Here is a pic of Ama coming over to play our kids. She's so fun with them. This particular time she showed up with die-cuts of a train for the boys to play with.
She was also nice enough to sit down and color with James... currently his favorite color is red.
