Life at the NICU
For any of you who have had an infant in the NICU, you know it's a "delightful" place. Regardless, we are grateful for all of Daniel's qualified and knowledgeable nurses and doctors. Daniel is growing and doing well. The doctors continue to increase his feedings and he is slowly figuring out nursing. This morning he was moved from the heated bed into a bassinet as he is maintaining his own temperature. At this point we are patiently waiting for him to build up strength and stamina so he can nurse 8 times a day and they can remove the feeding tube. At that point they will send him home with us. Thank you for your love, prayers, and continual support.

YEAH!!! Can't wait till he can go home. It's great that he is continuing to do well and continually getting better at nursing. :) Can't wait to be able to see him again.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update! We're really pleased Daniel's doing so well and hope that you are all dealing with everything ok. Love from us across the ocean!
