Look at that cute pic of Ama and James just loving each other. Ama kept James warm after swimming in the ocean... and he kind of milked it for ALL it was worth. At one point she fed him some crackers and he was too incapable of feeding them to himself, so she did it for him. It was pretty cute as I do miss my newborn.
The ocean and beach were super fun, and though the sand was more course, at least James didn't eat (and poop) it this time. We walked around "the strip" as it reminded us of Vegas, and even checked out (and chilled at for an hour) the Royal Hawaiian, the first hotel on the beach, and definitely still very nice. All the people, especially the Japanese, loved James, our little tow head.
I really love this last picture of Mike and I. I have this lame tradition of taking pictures of all the Hard Rock Cafe's around the world. I never eat at them because their food's nothing great, and really, I don't even care for the music. Whatever. It must be the traveling aspect I like--and that the first Hard Rock was built in London? Hmm.
Well, I really didn't need to see this one, but Mike was so sweet and drove in cirlces around Waikiki trying to get to this. Finally when we did get there we got out and took some pics. I love Mike's sweet expression in this picture. I am the luckiest girl in the world to be liked, loved, enjoyed, and adored by this wonderful boy! Isn't he just the sweetest, most cuddly thing? Don't you just want to hug him when you look at that picture?
