Okay, yummy, yummy, yummy. Pineapple ice cream with fresh pineapple on top. Yummy. James loved the train ride and Mike loved being able to take him on his first one (Mike Loves trains) and James loves cars, and I love my boys so it was a fun combination for all of us.
I never really thought about pineapple but I didn't realize that they started out looking like miniature pineapple and then just growing in size. It was pretty cute. I guess I didn't include a picture. The cute one of James is me holding a Jasmine flower up to his nose to see if he would smell it. He must have thought I was trying to tickle him with it because he just thought it was funny.
Pearl Harbor was cool too, though we were a little surprised by all the Japanese people there. I guess that would be us visiting Hiroshima? And, Mike had a good point "compared to all the Japanese on island, there really weren't that many." We saw a sting ray swimming above the USS Arizona and yes, we all loved the boat ride kind of like the train ride. Who knew you actually got on a ferry to go out to see the boat? Probably everyone, but that was news to me.
Random: Who knew that you can bring fluids through security at the airport if it's for your baby? We were planning on dumping the milk and water we had for James during the flight and then buying more inside the airport... they let us through. That was a nice surprise.
