Blurbing: my new hobby

Ok, Lizzie, I am so totally copying you by taking pictures of my blurb and posting them on the blog... but had you not done that, I would still be uneducated as to the wonderful options that you can do with a blog.
So, if there are any bloggers out there who have not yet heard of a blurb--it's just the coolest thing ever and I have to share it with you:

As you can see, you can turn your blog into a book--it's like an illustrated journal and I love it! This one is 200 pages and took about a week to assemble.

  1. Fun!! I've been wanting to do that but last I'd heard Blurb wasn't slurping Blogger - have they fixed the problem? I'm so excited!

  2. WHAT in the WORLD are you talking about??? I feel SO illiterate! "Blurb",
"slurping blogger" What?? I don't even know what "Blog" means, I just use it and do it(okay, occasionally do it). I love whatever it is, though, and can't wait to see the full 200+ pages when I get home.

  3. okay, so yesterday I was just thinking about how I could back up my blog in case something (I don't even know what) happened and I lost it. Glad to know I have a solution! Love it!

  4. Wow Robin. It's awesome. Don't feel like you're copying, because I probably just copied someone else. Isn't that the way life is?? I didn't see all those cute pictures of James on your blog though. Did you add those in to blurb, but they're not on your blog?? They're so cute!!!

  5. That's such a great idea - I didn't know that's what it is called.

I need to get your book back to you! I'm potty training and unable to leave the house for a while, so I'll let you know when I'm up that way.

  8. Sorry about the freekout with "John" commenting. My dad was logged onto my computer because he had to email me a paper I wrote. I didn't realize it was still logged in with him and I made a comment. But it really is so cute. I'm glad I was able to come over the other day. :)

  9. Okay, what is a blurb? (Looks like a blog, in book.) I'm intrigued. How did you do it? How long did it take? Dish.

Oh, and Lisa... you made me laugh out loud. When I saw the comment by John, I thought "is that Uncle John? random that he wants to come over and look at their book... but I wouldn't put it past him to be into that sort of thing". Ha! ... Thanks for clarifying that it was you who made the John comment. (Though, you'll note, I was not suprised and/or freaked out at the thought that your dad had made it.)
