Tagged-You're it (I wasn't really but saw it on a friend's blog and liked it)

Tagged: Okay, so we're watching the "Parade of Nations" of the Beijing opening ceremony and I need something I can halfheartedly do, so when I came across this while reading blogs I concluded that this will the perfect distraction... and then James woke up.

So, if some of the pictures are confusing it's because I finished this the following morning.

This is how it works: Take pictures now, no cleaning up, no taking a shower and no cheating! So, here are my pictures:

1. Me-(and James of course) vegging out in front of the Opening Ceremonies

2. The toilet- I like this room. I love the paint AND the fan is awesome! It can clear out the worst stink in minutes.

3. My favorite shoes-I just bought these and love them! They are semi-comfortable, however my most comfy and well-used shoes are definately my running shoes.

4. The kitchen sink-hooray, you caught me on a day that all the dishes are put away!

5. My laundry room- (aka the storage, shoe, to do piles, place that doesn't belong anywhere, random room)

6. My favorite room- the Living room. Granted, our bedroom is heavenly, there's still no question about this one as I am constantly telling Mike how much I love it. It's spacious, comfortable, and gets the best natural lighting and is so comfortable.

7. The refrigerator-You can always tell when I have gone to Costco because it's jam-packed full of food for a while. You can also tell when I Need to go to Costco because the only stuff in there are salad dressings and condoments... excuses, excuses... as much as I like to deny it, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree on messy fridges!

8. My closet-I Love our closet!!! You may notice the plant--that's because we get a not-so-fresh smell in there (could it be the dirty clothes that sit in there for weeks at a time??) so this is my new experiment and I'm not so sure about its effectiveness... regardless, the plant will probably stay because I have no where else to put it.

9. Messiest room in the house-The kitchen table which I take full and complete responsibility. I don't really use our home office because it's so out of the way and I like to have my computer downstairs. So, poor Mike, this table is my home office... and I followed the rules and didn't clean up before taking the picture :)

So, there you have it. Anything but ideal and far less than perfect but I'm sure in future years this will be a favorite entry of mine as this is my daily reality :)
